The Temple is being administered and managed by Pondicherry Utkal Samaj, Puducherry. It was formed and registered under Societies of Registration Act in the year 1992. This is a non-profitable organisation and is governed by its own by-laws.

1. Please inform Darshan timings of the Temple?

The temple remains open from 6.30 am to 10 am (morning), 1 pm to 2 pm (noon), and 5 pm to 9 pm (evening) on working days and from 6.30 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm on holidays and festivals.

2. Please inform timings of the Evening Aarti?

Evening Aarti starts from 6:15 pm in the evening till 7pm.

3. What are the timings for Anna Prasad?

Anna Prasad is available on prior booking and is served between 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm (noon). The Anna Prasad can be booked online (link of site) and through phone (Mr Anil: 9566643171).

4. Can I plan Anna Prasana of my child at the temple?

5. Can I plan special pujas on the occasions of birthday/marriage anniversary/any other good events at the temple?

6. Is vehicle pooja available here?

Yes. Vehicle pooja is done during temple timings with nominal charges of Rs.300/- for two wheelers, Rs500 for three wheelers and Rs.1000/- per four wheelers. These can be booked online (link of site) and through phone (Mr Anil: 9566643171).

7. Are marriages/thread ceremony allowed inside the temple?

Yes. Marriages and thread ceremony can be performed in the temple premises by the parties subject to prescribed fees. The temple does not undertake to perform marriages or thread ceremony. These can be booked online (link of site) and through phone (Mr Anil: 9566643171).

8. Are devotional songs/classical dance programme dedicated to the Lord Jaganath can be allowed inside the temple?

9. Is there Child Mundan facility available?

No. Child Mundan facility is not available.

10. Is there Sradha/Pinda dana can be offered in Temple?

No, Sradha/Pinda dana are not allowed in Temple

11. Is there facility to perform and conduct pujas on behalf of the devotees who are staying away from Pondicherry and cannot visit the temple?

12. How to go from Puducherry Railway station, Bus stop, Beach Road, etc to Jagannath temple?

The temple is 8.5 kms away from Puducherry Railway station and Beach Road, Five km from Airport, 6 km from Puducherry Bus Stop. You can easily reach the temple by reaching the Pondy-Tindivanam Highway and taking a right turn before the Toll Gate to Sanghamitra Convention Centre. One can then proceed westward for about 500meters before alighting at the temple.

13. Is there parking slot near the temple?

Yes. There is a comfortable parking place available, just adjacent to the temple main gate. The parking area is a bit crowded on Sundays and festivals.

14. Is photography allowed?

Non-commercial photography is allowed in the temple premises whereas photography in sanctum is prohibited.

15. Any dress code?

No specific dress code is prescribed. Traditional dress is preferred. No footwear is allowed inside the temple.
