About Us

The divine temple is administered and managed by the members of Pondicherry Utkal Samaj, Pondicherry. The trust was formed and registered under Societies of Registration Act in the year 1992. This is a non-profitable religious organisation formed by dedicated members and is governed by its own by-laws.

The Pondicherry Utkal Samaj is distinctively known for fostering cultural, religious and charitable activities in Pondicherry. It eternalizes the authentic and traditional Odisha culture amongst Odias staying in and around the union territory. The Samaj facilitates the celebration of various special Odia festivals like Savitri Puja, Kumar Purnima, and other cultural programmes. It also provides medical aid to the needy and takes up other religious activities in addition to promotion of cultural activities.

Objectives

To provide adequate amenity and opportunities for organising various cultural meetings, ethnic events and charitable activities
To establish and maintain libraries and information service for attainment of the cultural and educational objectives of the society.
To facilitate and maintain Indian culture heritage and tradition.
To build and establish pilgrim’s home and temples at Pondicherry and/or in any other place in India and maintain and run the same.
To establish , maintain and /run studentships , scholarships and render other kind of aid to individuals including supply of medicines, books , stipends, medals and other incentives to study , without any distinction of caste, colour, creed or religion.
