Vaikunta Ekadashi is the Shukla Paksha Ekadashi which falls occurs during the Dhanu month, usually during the late December – January of the year. It is one of the most important and auspicious days for Hindus. It is believed that that ‘Vaikunta Dwaram’ or ‘the gate to the Lord Vishnu’s Inner Sanctum’ is opened on this day. on Vaikuntha Ekadashi Fasting is considered holier than any other religious observation.
